Production Notes:
BRAINWASH recorded his debut album, "Skitsofrenic", between late-1995 & mid-1996. He released the CD on his
X-A-Q Shunn Muzick record label (which would later be re-named to Sykadelik Entertainment) and sold over 2,000
units throughout California & Washington with no promotion other than word-of-mouth, establishing Brainwash with a
strong & loyal local fan-base.
Original "underground" versions of "Interview Witta Sycoepath", "Brainwashed" & "Sicc In The Head", recorded by Brainwash
in 1995 on an analog 4-track, were the inspiration behind the first 6 songs of the album, introducing a new style of rap which
Brainwash has described as a "horror-movie on CD". Re-creations of those three tracks, plus another three new songs, were recorded
at Mr. Music's "L&L Studios", Crazy-8's "Sick-Ness Studios" & Brainwash's "Mental Ward" studios in Stockton, California.
Guest performer & Sykadelik artist Koid managed to complete his verse for "Russian Roulette" while on-the-run from
the police. He was finally apprehended, a few days later & would spend the next 4 years in prison.
"Slippin' In The Darkness" became a local underground hit for Brainwash & still remains one of his most popular tracks.
